Pete Wentz: 'I can't believe Fall Out Boy is still a band'

Rocker Pete Wentz has opened up about the success of his band Fall Out Boy and confessed that he can't believe how far they've come.

Speaking to Kerrang! magazine recently, the hitmaker explained that reuniting after their hiatus taught him a lot about the parts of the industry he likes and the things that he finds difficult:

"It was - and still is - weird [being back as a band]. Like, there are parts of it, for example the live show, that are like remembering how to ride a bike! But there are parts of it that are quite a bit harder, like being away on the road."

He went onto add that he can't believe they are still performing and recording together today, and is proud of everything they've accomplished:

"I think Fall Out Boy in 2001 would be shocked to learn that we are still a band at all! I think we would be impressed by the evolution in the same way that a caveman would be impressed by Zippo lighter tricks!"

Fall Out Boy, meanwhile, will perform live at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17.
