Bristol girl band make their music video debut

Two local teenage singers are climbing the music industry ladder with the release of their debut music video.

Following in the footsteps of many successful girl bands before them; Cheyenne Eddolls and Georgia Tarring replied to an advertisement in the summer of 2013 to join a new artist development project which would result in launching 'Girl Next Door', a new 3-piece all-female group. After working with a team of songwriters, music producers, vocal coaches, stylists and photographers, last year the girls alongside fellow band member Alisha Ayles from Portsmouth released their self written 3 track EP on iTunes.

After supporting artists including Peter Andre, Sam Bailey and Kingsland Road, Girl Next Door felt inspired to record a music video for their track 'Should Have Known'. Working with The Famous Company, the girls shot the three minute video at Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre in Lifton, Devon. With it's array of classic fairground rides, the colourful lights and vibrant atmosphere provided a perfect backdrop to the bands debut video which the girls hope will remind their fans of summers gone by filled with fun and new friends.

Before joining Girl Next Door, 17 year old Cheyenne from Lawrence Weston was a member of her school choir and actively participated in various school talent shows and local events including a Ronald McDonald charity performance in Cabot Circus. Now at Filton College, Cheyenne has continued to broaden her musical experience by performing all over the UK with Girl Next Door, alongside her studies in Early Years Childcare and Education.

18 year old Georgia from Yate is preparing to graduate from Brimsham Green School in a few weeks before continuing her studies on the Performance Arts course at Gloucester University from September. Georgia was inspired to audition for the band after a successful performance at Open Mic UK. Throughout the groups' three year journey to date, their first performance at the 2014 Park Street Slide day remains the highlight for Georgia.

Ben Rees from The Famous Company said, "Over the past three years, Georgia & Cheyenne have performed as part of Girl Next Door at venues and events across the UK including Bolton Wanderers Football Club, the Maritime Festival in Southampton, Festival of Song at Colston Hall in Bristol and numerous regional events including Christmas light switch-on's in shopping centres nationwide where they have grown their fanbase".

The video for the track 'Should Have Known' has amassed over 3,000 views on Vevo in less than 2 weeks. To watch the video or for more information about the group click www.facebook.com/GNDonline
