Canvas Wall Plan To Paint the Town Red at Latest Launch Party

North London indie pop-rock four-piece Canvas Wall are celebrating the release of their new EP ‘Mannekind’ in style, as they take to Camden Assembly on October 1st for an exclusive launch party.

First igniting their musical passions under the heavenly Maltese heat roughly 10 years ago, Simon and Craig have since brought long-time friends Dean and Matteo on board and moved to London in order to carve out their place in its bustling music scene.

Funded by Arts Council Malta and produced by Grammy award-winning engineer Matt Lawrence, the EP arrives 4 years after the release of their well-received crowdfunded debut album, Thinking Out Loud.

Inspired by anything from Incubus to Wolf Alice; from Nirvana to the Naked and Famous, the boys have always considered genre-blending as an integral part of their sound: “There’s a real mix and there are many more great artists we love to listen to that inspire us”.

Refusing the sort of genre definitions that have constrained artists over the decades, the band are adopting a current trend which is seeing more and more musicians producing a mixed-bag of beats that appeal to all kinds of music-lovers.

Tickets are currently on sale at £8. To secure your spot, head to Fatsoma.
