Chris Smee Supports Idols Busted at Sell-Out Concert

19 year old singer-songwriter Chris Smee brought the NEC to its knees last weekend after a thrilling performance for Free Radio Live.

Tipped as the south-west’s answer to Ed Sheeran, Chris joined forces with The Famous Company last year and has been captivating audiences of all ages ever since.

Developing himself as a solo artist under Famous’ direction, Chris has been performing at live music venues across the UK, a number of radio roadshows and even put in a memorable performance at the world famous Kensington Roof Gardens.

When asked about his performance, Chris said that it was “such a great experience. It was mad to be playing at the NEC alongside artists like Busted, Olly Murs and Little Mix. It was weird to have so many eyes on me, but still so incredible”.

In the run-up to the release of his new album, “Ability”, Chris embarked on a national schools tour with charity D.A.R.E to promote the album as well as delivering a healthy lifestyle message to thousands of young people.

Since dropping the album last month, the young singer is readying the release of new single “Late Night” for the New Year.

As the New Year approaches, Chris is being kept busy by his studies and a tour that will warm him up nicely for the forthcoming festival season.
