Future Bass Forthcomer Alexi Diem Dishes out Warm Vibes on Bright and Bouncy 'Palm Trees'

Despite picking up a guitar as early as 6 years old, it wasn’t until high school that producer Alexi Diem started taking his music seriously. Following his own passion when everyone else around him was towing the line, Alexi packed up and set off to sunny Los Angeles in 2014, where he was swiftly absorbed into the underground DJ scene. Here, Alexi discovered an affinity with trap, hip-hop and atmospheric future bass.

Drawing influence from across the dance scene, Alexi dreams of releasing tunes to rival icons and genre frontrunners San Holo, ODESZA and Flume.

Intensely private and driven to the point of near obsession, Alexi renders his once inexpressible emotion in airtight, tranquil textures.

Shot at Malibu Pier by filmmaker/adventure vlogger Kyle Houck, the video follows a carefree Alexi and his friends as they kick their shoes off and relax under the blushing evening sky.
