New York born singer-songwriter Dan Marsh is an artist who isn’t afraid to tackle the issue of maintaining self worth and mental health head on.

He makes music from the soul - “fall in love with the beauty of you - live, love, learn” - is the mantra that he enters every situation with.

Dan spent most of his childhood admiring the sultry sounds of Anita Baker and Marvin Gaye, the electric aesthetic of N.E.R.D, and even the contagious tunes of Phoenix. He saw what they did as poetry set to musical rhythm, and began to set his own verses to their own beats. Continuing to perfect his craft, it was then that Dan saw his duty to share his sound with the world in the midst of the passing of music legend, Michael Jackson.

After moving to London last year, Dan has proven to be a bottomless pit of stories, with each digging deeper to shine a light on the rock bottom moments that some other artists shy away from sharing.

Dan collaborated with Will Baker from AudioHaus on this latest track ‘Lose your Heart’, a slight side step from his previous releases rooted in RnB, this latest offering has more contemporary feel to it. “Lose Your Heart is a story of reflection after heartbreak. When we look back at what we’ve done to hurt a past lover. While finding our faults and learning about the love we lost”, explained Dan.

With a summer of festivals shelved due to the ongoing pandemic, Dan has turning his attention to building his network in London. With support slots with Dan Crossley, WaveCityBay, Adreyn Cash, Mikill Pane, Ruby Francis as well as taking part in panel events at Selfridges and online with Record Union.

"Lose Your Heart" is available to stream now from all the usual platforms.
