Fergie hints she may soon return to the studio

Fergie has hinted that she may soon return to the recording studio after revealing she has notebooks full of ideas for new music.

The 37-year-old, who has been focusing on her nail and footwear collection since the Black Eyed Peas announced their hiatus last year, told MTV News that whilst she doesn’t miss life on the road, she is starting to feel ready to put a new album together:

"I don't miss being on the road right now because the thing is, I was on the road for eight years, so I love pizza, but pizza every day for eight years is a different thing.

“However, I've already got notebooks full of ideas for new music, so I'm gonna kind of nurture that just like I do all of my ideas and perfect it until it's ready and then I'll just let it go."

The ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ singer, who released her debut solo album, ‘The Duchess,’ back in 2006, admitted that up until now she’s been content to concentrate on her other projects:

"I've got my head in a lot of really, really good baskets right now. It's a great plethora of things that I'm involved in. I love it."
