Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel has admitted that he knew he was in love with Black Eyed Peas hitmaker Fergie the moment he met her.

The pair got married back in 2009 after dating for around 5 years, and Duhamel has now confessed to OK magazine that their connection was instant:

"I just knew going in that she was the one woman I wanted to be with. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, if there's a connection between two people, then it's all possible. And I don't just mean the surface. There's a lot more than just the babe-ness."

He also gave his opinion on what a relationship should be and added that it should enrich both lovers' lives:

"You grow up and realise that it isn't about the aesthetic, it's about whether or not that person makes you better. Whether or not that person makes you happy. You're lucky if you can find it."
