Fifth Harmony to make guest appearance on MTV's 'Faking It'

'Bo$$' sensations Fifth Harmony will be making a cameo on MTV's popular single-camera romantic comedy series 'Faking It' in the near future.

Earlier this week, Buzzfeed exclusively confirmed that the beauties will make a special guest appearance on the show's upcoming second season and explained that the group will play “an all-girl band with an edge who cover pop music’s most memorable boy band songs".

The singers, meanwhile, have just finished a tour with Austin Mahone and The Vamps, and took to their collective Twitter page this morning (September 11) to tell their fans that this summer has been one they'll never forget: "We've had the best summer of our lives..Thank u thank u thank u @austinmahone, @TheVampsband, @shawnmendes, @alexangelo & most of all YOU."

At the beginning of September, Fifth Harmony opened up about the downside to being in the spotlight and they agreed that the worst thing about it is how journalists try to create rivalry between them and their contemporaries:

"I don't think we get compared to something like that - if anything, it's the Spice Girls - but we don't hate that at all. What sucks is when people try to rival us with Little Mix and groups like that. They try to make it like a competition when, really, we're friends with the girls. The thing is, if we're trying to promote girl power and things like that, we're going to promote that with other groups, too. We're going to support everybody!"
