Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke: 'I've learned that I have a voice and my opinions aren't invalid'

Ally Brooke Hernandez, of Fifth Harmony fame, has revealed that she has been taught some valuable lessons over the past few years of rising to fame and feels more self-confident as a result of being in the public eye.

Speaking to FusionLive.net, the girls were asked about growing up in the spotlight and Hernandez confessed that she has learned it's alright to be strong and to speak her mind:

"Something that I've learned personally - because I used to struggle with this a lot - having a voice and standing up for yourself and for what you believe in... my voice isn't invalid and my opinions aren't inferior, you know what I mean?"

Beauty Camila Cabello went onto add that just because they're growing up doesn't mean they have to start being serious: "Also, I think, being a kid while also being an adult is important. You have to have fun."

Fifth Harmony, meanwhile, will release their highly anticipated debut studio album, which is called 'Reflection', in December and they revealed that it will be 'lyrically clever': "It's really good lyrically clever way of showing girl empowerment and there is a lot of good songs on there with that theme. Besides the songs that we want people to put on that make them feel good about themselves, there are also songs that are a bit more vulnerable and vibey. Songs that show the vocals off a bit more and songs about love."
