Fifth Harmony on new album: 'Finding our sound was just trial and error'

'Bo$$' hitmakers Fifth Harmony have revealed that they have evolved a lot since their 'X Factor' days and this change will be embodied on their new record.

During a new interview with Fusion.net, the beauties opened up about their forthcoming new album 'Reflection' and explained that they finally feel as though they've carved out their own sound and know where they belong:

"The sound is totally different, we've evolved from the EP days. Back then, we had just come off 'The X Factor' and we were still finding our sound and what really worked, which is all about trial and error. This album is more urban and R&B oriented... sassy! The lyrics are more grown up."

When asked why girl power and empowering women is so important to them, member Camila Cabello explained that they want to use their collective voice to represent women: "Especially now, the Top 10 and in social media there's this whole feminist movement that we want to be a part of because it's so important to be like, 'go girls'!"
