Fifth Harmony have announced the name of their next single.

The US girl group will unleash the tune 'Sledgehammer' as the follow-up to previous effort 'BO$$'.

They tweeted today (October 24): "GUYS!!! Our next single is #Sledgehammer! Ahh, we're freaking out....can't wait for you to hear it!! #5HBigAnnouncement."

The track 'BO$$' was released in the US in July and it reached No.43 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Fifth Harmony's debut album 'Reflection' meanwhile will be released in the US in December.

The girl band rose to fame on the 2012 series of the US X Factor, with the quintet finishing third.
