The Fifth Harmony beauties recently announced 'Sledgehammer' as their new single and the track was written by 'All About That Bass' rising star, Meghan Trainor. 

Speaking about getting to work with Trainor, member Normani Kordei explained that it was a great experience and she even came to visit them on the set of the music video:

"We're actually label mates with Meghan Trainor so we were really excited when we got the opportunity to work with her on a couple of songs. She's just awesome. She's encouraging to us and she's very talented, and we're close in age so we can definitely relate to her. She was actually on set - she came to support us."

Songstress Lauren Jauregui then opened up about the concept behind the video and confessed that it's meant to be very 'sensual': "Lots of pop videos are bright and have a lot of colour involved, but this one's more subdued and the hues are going to be more blue and sensual. It's taking the song and making it more sensual than it actually is."
