Fifth Harmony rally around Lauren Jauregui after her grandmother passes away

It was confirmed yesterday that the grandmother of Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui had passed away and the beauty's bandmates showed their love and support for her on the social networking site, Twitter.

Jauregui shared a photograph of herself smiling with her gran (shown left) and accompanied the lovely image with the following heartfelt caption: "Yesterday I lost a large piece of my world. My most beautiful, intelligent, strong, angel. The woman who taught me that a strong mind and heart are essential in this life."

"Thank you for giving me your unconditional love and wisdom throughout my life, listening to me and making me feel like I was heard and that my feelings were always valid. You will always be in my heart. Thank you for 80 years of your essence, you will be missed greatly but I know that God is happy that you're home and safe now and I also know you will always be with me."

After she announced the sad news, her bandmates posted messages of support on Twitter and Ally Brooke Hernandez wrote: "@LaurenJauregui I love you more than you know and we are ALL praying for you and your family. My heart is with you #WeAreForHereYouLauren." Camila Cabello added: "I can't imagine how hard this is. I'm praying for you guys a lot. We're here for you Jauregui fam, always #WeAreHereForYouLauren."

Upon reading the sweet words, Jauregui replied and wrote: "Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I see it all and I am grateful and blessed to receive so much love from you all."
