Dinah Jane Hansen opens up about Fifth Harmony's chemistry

Girl group Fifth Harmony have enjoyed incredible success since they were formed on 'X Factor USA' in 2012 and member Dinah Jane Hansen has now opened up about how they came together.

Speaking to Sugarscape, the beauty explained that finding such support and sisterhood in the form of 4 other bandmates when she initially auditioned as a solo singer was an unexpected but most welcome surprise:

"I think when we were placed together on 'The X Factor', that was a big moment for me. The fact that I was with these four other girls, that made us feel worth a lot. That was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life."

"I never thought that this would ever happen. It's funny because you go into this show thinking you're going to be a solo act and thinking you're going to focus on yourself, but no. Everything changed. Everything did a 360. It's awesome."

The 'Worth It' sensation went onto add that their chemistry began before they were put together on the show as she and the other members had already been chatting during the first audition process: "Us girls were all talking before we were placed together. We were mingling around and we all knew each other; so when we were placed together we were like 'I know this girl, I really do like her, she's cool anyways.' There was chemistry built already."
