Songstress Camila Cabello, of Fifth Harmony fame, has revealed that she considers recent collaborator Shawn Mendes to be one of her very best friends. 

The pair recorded a stunning duet called 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and she has now revealed to Teen Vogue magazine that they have a fantastic personal relationship as well as a great working one:

"You do not know many people like him, especially in the music industry. When I am anxious, sad or feeling overwhelmed, it makes me feel better. It is not just friends when it's easy or convenient, but it's there when it's hard too. I feel you can tell a lot about a person by the way she makes other people feel about themselves. Shawn does his team, fans, friends, and everyone he cares to feel good about themselves."

"In the music industry, there are many egos and people who are not very favourable, but we we encourage each other and push us to give our best. We're really there for each other. There is a phrase that says "Friendship is not how much time you meet someone, but who came into his life and said 'I'm here for you' and proves it." I can tell you honestly consider him one of my best friends."
