Fifth Harmony want to keep inspiring young women

Fifth Harmony say they will keep on going if they still inspire young women.

The girl group often promote a message of female empowerment in their tunes.

Speculation emanated recently that the quintet, however, may do a 'One Direction' in the future and take a break.

Speaking to Teen.com, singer Lauren Jauregui said that may happen in the future - but they want to keep inspiring young girls in the meantime.

She said: "It’s just a realistic thing; we’re in a group and all have creative difference, and that’s something that realistically in ten to fifteen years is where we should be.

"By then, we’d be doing this for a very long time. At the end of the day, though, if we’re successful, we’ll keep going with it. This is what we do.

"We do it because we want to spread the message of girl empowerment and we want to make awesome music that girls want to turn on and listen to, so if we’re inspiring young women, that’s what we want to keep doing. We’re going to do that as long as people allow us."
