Girl group Fifth Harmony have been added to the line-up for this year's CMT Music Awards. 

The 'Work From Home' beauties may seem to be an unlikely addition to the bill for a country music awards show, but it has been revealed that they will perform with breakthrough artist Cam. 

Cam, who began her career as a songwriter for other artists, took to her Twitter page earlier this evening (May 25) and confessed that she is incredibly excited to share the stage with the girls: "Can't wait to harmonize with these gals @FifthHarmony. #girlpower #CMTawards @CMT"

Forbes magazine reports that 5H will mash-up their hit single 'Work From Home' with Cam's 'Mayday'. Cam has been nominated in the New Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year (for 'Burning House'), and Video of the Year (also for 'Burning House') categories. 

The CMT Awards will air on June 8.
