Fifth Harmony have praised their fans after bagging their first ever Much Music Video Awards prize.

The girl group went home with the Most Buzzworthy International Artist or Group award at the Canadian event on Sunday (June 19).

Speaking on Twitter after their win, Fifth Harmony wrote to their fans:

"#MMVAs were magical, thanks so much for an amazing night @Much! And of course our Harmonizers hold it down every time."

It was an especially good night for singer Camila Cabello, who also won for her Shawn Mendes collaboration 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.

The tune won Fan Fave Video and Best Pop Video.

Drake was the biggest winner on the night, bagging five awards.
