LA Times puts Fifth Harmony on its Best Pop Music of 2016 So Far list

Girl group Fifth Harmony have been included in the Los Angeles Times' Best Pop Music of the 2016 (So Far) feature

The 'Work From Home' hitmakers feature on the rundown alongside the likes of Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, the late David Bowie and Rihanna, and alongside their name is the following explanation:

"Who would have suspected that one of the year’s best top 40 pop hits would be about telecommuting? Kidding: Of course “Work From Home” is a metaphor for ripping out of the office early to attend to more exciting activities at home. But it finally gives the teen-beloved, “X Factor”-formed quintet a trademark single, and helped make “7/27” one of the year’s most enjoyable pop LPs."

Other acts mentioned in the LA Times' list include Radiohead, Mike Posner, Laura Mvula, and Paul Simon.

5H, meanwhile, recently featured on The Official Charts Company's UK's 40 most popular songs so far this year list and placed at No.12 with 'Work From Home'. The group will return to the UK for a tour in October where they will kick off the jaunt with a concert at Glasgow's Hydro arena on the 6th.
