Fifth Harmony's Normani addresses negative band tension speculation

Fifth Harmony songstress Normani Kordei has defended herself on Twitter after recent comments that she made about Camila Cabello were interpreted negatively by fans.

During a recent Facebook Live interview with Galore magazine, she was asked to describe the other members of the group and while she managed to heap praise on the other girls, she only used the words "quirky" and "cute" to personify Camila.

This caused followers of 5H to speculate that there might be some tension between the girls, but Normani took to Twitter to address the response to her remarks.

She wrote: "It is a shame that after four years together as a group I have to address foolishness manufactured by those that have absolutely no idea what goes on. I have shown nothing but commitment for the success of Fifth Harmony, even promoting on my days off, yet I always find myself as the target of unjust hate and slander."

"I have love and respect for all four of my bandmates, whether you choose to believe it or not. My conscience and spirit are clear. For those of you who enjoy speculating and creating drama that doesn't exist, please keep in mind that myself and the other girls in the group are PEOPLE, we feel hurt and sadness just like anyone else."
