Foo Fighters announce new album details

'All My Life' rockers Foo Fighters have revealed information about their eighth studio album and confirmed that it will feature eight songs.

The highly anticipated album, entitled 'Sonic Highways', is due to be officially released on November 10 and was recorded in eight different studios.

Last summer, member Chris Shiflett told FasterLouder.com.au that he was really excited about the album because the ideas the band had were 'different' from previous material they have unveiled:

"I can't go into too much detail, but... I'm excited about it. Dave [Grohl]'s got a bunch of new songs and the way that we're gonna make the new record - like, the approach for it - is gonna be pretty f***ing fun. And different."
