Foo Fighters could be set to play a trio of intimate shows this week in the UK.

The band, who are releasing their eighth record 'Sonic Highways' on November 10, have teased plans to play live in Britain in the coming days.

They only have one official gig in their itinerary, which is due to take place at the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony in London at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on September 14.

However, they posted on Twitter on Sunday (September 7) that they will play three club-sized gigs in the days prior.

Uploading a photo of a British plug socket, the band wrote:

"Sure missed you...now, let's do 3 club gigs this week..."
