Foo Fighters confirm Sonic Highways sequel

Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl has confirmed that the group will release another Sonic Highways series.

The band featured in the HBO documentary show last year as they recorded their current album of the same name.

It showed the US stars cutting the record to tape in a number of studios across the US as they explored cities' musical history.

Grohl has now confirmed to NME that a second series is planned, with the location possibly in the UK.

He said: "[It] might or might not be international...It might only be in England. It might be in England and other places.

"The great thing about the idea, the concept of the project, is that it can be anywhere because every city has some sort of musical history, but I don’t know.

"Of all places in the world England and the UK just seems like it would be shooting fish in a barrel. There’s just so f*cking much here."
