Foo Fighters have launched a competition, which front man Grohl describes as "a call to aspiring young filmmakers", that could see a fan direct the band's new video. 

The track at stake is yet unknown, but will be from their forthcoming album, and the rockers will select 11 lucky contestants who will all create visuals to accompany it. The videos will then premiere on fusemusic.com and will be made available to the public.

The competition's statement reads:

"This could be your big break. So what are you waiting for? Upload your reel and show us what you’ve got!"
