Foo Fighters have finally unveiled the title of their forthcoming seventh studio album as 'Wasting Light'. 

The first single from the long-awaited release will be called 'Rope' and it will be available in the UK from March 1 ahead of the album's launch on April 11. In addition to this exciting new record, the 'One By One' rockers will perform at several high profile events across the UK later this year including the Isle of Wight Festival in June and their two-night residency at Milton Keynes' Bowl in July.
