Foo Fighters unveil 'Rope'

Foo Fighters unveiled their brand new single, 'Rope', today (February 23) for the first time in full.

It was played in its entire duration at midday on Fearne Cotton's Radio 1 show, and she tweeted before it was sent out through the airwaves:

"FOO.FIGHTERS.WORLD.EXCLUSIVE.ROPE.AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Lets do it!!!!!!!!"

'Rope' is a mid tempo offering from the rockers and it's built from a safe but addictive melody, fantastic drum breakdown and a biting guitar solo. It's different in style to 'White Limo', which was the first track to be revealed from the band's new studio album, 'Wasting Light', and its arrangement and layered vocals help it to both stand alone and stand out.
