Foo Fighters clarify "last show" comment

Foo Fighters have denied rumours that they're about to take a prolonged break.

The popular rock band headlined the Reading Festival on Sunday (August 26), running through their impressive back catalogue of hits.

Frontman Dave Grohl turned a few heads when he proclaimed on stage that they were playing their "last show for a long time".

They took to Twitter, however, to clarify the remark after some imaginative minds predicted the downfall of the band. They tweeted:

"Jeesh! Relax.....I was only talking TO England!! ABOUT England...Stop eavesdropping internets!"

During the gig, Grohl gave a dedication to former Nirvana bandmates Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic, who have given the festival some of its most renowned memories.
