Dave Grohl helps launch the new iPhone 5: 'These people are shaping our future'

Rockers Foo Fighters were present at the launch of the iPhone 5 in California yesterday (September 12), where they played a special unplugged gig.

Following the revealing of the new Apple products, which included a new 'ultra-thin' iPod touch, new iTunes system and updated iPod Nanos, Grohl took the stage with the rest of his band and, according to Britain's The Guardian newspaper, told the audience:

"One of the incredible things about being here is that you're meeting people who are shaping our future."

"And just like Little Richard, Tom Petty, Jimmy Page, these are just people who took it upon themselves to change our future, but you meet them and they're people! And this one's dedicated to all those people."

They played stripped down versions of 'Times Like These', 'My Hero', and 'Walk'.
