Dave Grohl has claimed that Blue singer Lee Ryan turned up drunk to one of his recent after-parties and spoiled the night.

The Foo Fighters mainman performed in London in February with his new supergroup, the Sound City Players.

However, he told NME that the after-party for the gig was marred by Lee Ryan's drunkenness, who was bragging about Blue's sales figures. He said:

"There was this English singer who was with us who was completely wasted. We almost had to throw him out...Have you heard of this band Blue? The guy kept telling us how many million records he's sold...I was like 'Really? You?."

Lee Ryan tweeted about the night when it happened, saying: "Oh my God!!! I'm at the Sound City gig!!!! Dave Grohl is playing!!!! (I am) meeting him after!!! Best in me!!! Amazing!!!!!"
