‘Bring This All Together’ is the blitzkrieging new single from The Luka State, available to stream now and impacting at radio on May 26.

The follow-up to ‘Lies! Lies! Lies!’ – described by Record of The Day as firing “with the pent-up rage and energy you’ll find in early Supergrass and Manic Street Preachers tracks” – ‘Bring This All Together’ fizzes with rock’n’roll attitude, from the skyscraping guitars to frontman Conrad Ellis’s fist-pumping vocals. The track was mixed by Rich Turvey, who co-produced Blossoms debut album with The Coral’s James Skelly.

Already boasting over 3 million YouTube views and Radio support from BBC Introducing, 6 Music, and Kerang! Radio, The Luka State are a band on a mission.

“I can only name five guitar bands – Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The 1975, Catfish And The Bottlemen and Blossoms – that are regularly in the charts today,” explains Conrad. “I think it's something we lack in this country and it's something we need. It gives us a kick up the arse and drives us to want to be that band in the Top 10.”

Armed with a cannon of indie anthems in waiting, The Luka State have the tunes to match their ambition. And, like so many great bands, rock’n’roll is their ticket out of humdrum small town life. Determined to avoid Winsford's two main career options - working down the local salt mines or Pritt Stick's nearby glue factory - Conrad and bassist Sam Bell formed the band while in their early teens.

“The main reason we formed the band was because there is fucking nothing to do around here. It comes from the pure boredom of being in a shitty job or having no job,” says Conrad. “Even when me and Sam were kids we wanted to be one of the biggest bands around.”

After building up a fervent local following, before long The Luka State found themselves playing impromptu shows to raucous crowds in living rooms, kitchens and barns, like The Libertines did during their early days. These ‘Secret House Party’ shows, organised via social media, have seen the band travel all over the UK and as far as Amsterdam and Paris to play gigs for their fans. 

More recently, Sam has been at the helm at Birmingham's Summerfield Studios putting the finishing touches to The Luka State’s forthcoming debut album under the watchful eye of Manic Street Preachers producer Dave Eringa and Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Feeder, Biffy Clyro).

The Luka State are also showing support for fellow upcoming bands in their new Youtube TV Show LISTEN TO THIS. Launched in November, a new episode is released every Wednesday at 7pm on The Luka State’s official Youtube channel and features 5 of the hottest new bands around.
