Girls Aloud have been confirmed to play at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball in December.

The recently reformed group will play the second night of the Christmas themed event at London's O2 Arena on December 9.

It will be the first major arena gig the girls will play following their 10th anniversary reunion last month.

Other acts playing the second night of the Jingle Bell Ball include P!nk, The Wanted and Calvin Harris.

Example, Conor Maynard and Rita Ora are also scheduled to play the December 9 gig.

Tickets for the second night of the event went on sale on today (November 12) at 8am UK time.
