Girls Aloud on Twitter rules and being reunited

Newly reformed group Girls Aloud stopped by the KISS FM studios recently and opened up about what it's like to be back together.

Speaking to DJ Melvin, they explained that it's a lot of fun travelling around as a unit and it reminds them of years ago when they first started out in the music industry after graduating from the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals.

Nicola Roberts said: "Its good fun! It reminds us of when we first started, when we used to travel around and have our lives in the car. You’d open the boot and like the food would fall out or the clothes would fall out. It takes us back."

The ladies also admitted that they like to listen to Destiny's Child before performing and they all agreed that the new wave of all-girl bands such as Little Mix and Stooshe are talented: "We like them, they’re cute. They have good songs."

The 'No Good Advice' beauties also talked about the relevance of Twitter and Cheryl Cole explained that she likes the site, but thinks that as pop stars they have a duty to maintain certain standards: "I try to not swear. Like I make a conscious effort to not swear. Because I didn’t realise, and I still do think there should be an age limit on there. Like at least 16 or 18, because you are exposed to a lot. You can go or you can stumble across some crazy stuff on there!"

She added: "Honestly, I just don’t think you should swear. My nephew’s on there and he’s 12 and I’m like…Ok I’m going to be conscious of that."

The full interview will air tomorrow (November 13) during Kiss FM's breakfast show and you can check out their video for 'Something New' here:
