Smooth Radio, which plays Your Relaxing Music Mix across the UK, has announced a new schedule for 2020, launching on Monday (6th January).

Jenni Falconer is joining the UK’s third largest commercial radio brand to present London’s Smooth Breakfast, weekdays from 6am to 10am. Providing Londoners with the ultimate wake-up call to beat the January blues, her all-new breakfast show will also be available nationwide on Smooth Extra on DAB digital radio.

In addition, Jenni will host a new Saturday show from 10am to 1pm across the UK on the Smooth network. Jenni becomes part of the star presenter line-up on Smooth – alongside Kate Garraway, Myleene Klass, Margherita Taylor, Tina Hobley and Angie Greaves – having previously hosted the early breakfast show on Smooth’s sister station, Heart.

Jenni takes over from Gary King, who will present Smooth’s new, national early breakfast show from Monday to Friday, as well as continuing to host Saturday afternoons (1pm to 4pm) across the network.

Angie Greaves, who joined Smooth last September to host the brand-new nationwide Smooth Drive Home, will present a new three-hour Sunday show. From 10am, Angie will play the perfect soundtrack to ease into Sunday morning.

The Smooth Sanctuary at Seven – featuring three hours of relaxing music to help Smooth listeners unwind at the end of the day – will now run seven days a week (7pm to 10pm), hosted by Tina Hobley every Saturday, and Gary Vincent from Sunday to Friday.
