Capital is bringing the UK’s biggest Christmas party to fans at home with a special live TV and radio show, celebrating 12 years of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, the UK’s biggest Christmas party.

The Best of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard will bring together 2 hours of spectacular performances and iconic moments – hand-picked by Capital – from the past 12 years, as well as new and exclusive interviews with some of the artists that have graced the Jingle Bell Ball stage.

Hosted by Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay, the show will be broadcast live around the world on Global Player, Sky One and YouTube and live on the radio on Capital.

It’s all live, Thursday December 10th at 7pm UK time (11am PST, 2pm EST) – exactly 12 years to the day since Capital’s first ever Jingle Bell Ball.

Announcing the show on his Capital Breakfast show this morning:

Shawn Mendes joined Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay live on Capital Breakfast this morning to reveal he’ll feature in the show, saying:

“We’re bringing London’s O2 to your place! Not only will you see my performance of ‘Stitches’ from 2016, but more incredible performances from so many of my fellow artists, and, you’ll have the best seat in the house for this show!

Plus, I’ve been working on something special for you guys – I’ve recorded a brand new, exclusive performance of ‘Wonder’ just for you which will also feature in the show.

The show will be sponsored by Barclaycard as part of a three-year partnership with Global – keeping customers entertained. The partnership includes Barclaycard’s headline sponsorship of Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball in future and follows a hugely successful “Best of Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard” show in May.
