Global Player and Capital XTRA today announce details of their brand new podcast, ‘Tea Time’ brought to you by Capital XTRA DJ Will Njobvu and former Love Island star Yewande Biala. In the podcast Will and Yewande will dissect the week’s showbiz news and gossip, give their most honest (and often shady) opinions on the most viral social media talking topics of the week and as well as chatting to an array of exciting guests.

‘Tea Time’ is a deep dive into celebrity culture, covering everything from rappers, actors, pop stars, reality TV stars, influencers and comedians. Will and Yewande will bring their real life long phone conversations to the podcast, speaking candidly about their own lives, their experiences in navigating society and the entertainment industry as people of colour, as well as speaking frankly on mental health.

The duo will also serve up exclusive gossip and encourage listeners to get involved in their discussions by using the hashtag #TeaTime. Listeners will also be able to send in voice notes to be played on the show, bringing their own topics and talking points to each episode.

‘Tea Time’ is available on Global Player, or wherever you get your podcasts, from 30th November, with new episodes every Tuesday thereafter.
