After a three-year covid hiatus, Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard is back and bigger than ever before!

The UK’s biggest summer party returns to London’s iconic Wembley Stadium for the first time since the pandemic began, with 80,000 Capital listeners and a massive line-up of the world’s hottest artists set to come together once again at Wembley on Sunday June 12th.

More huge names confirmed to play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard on Sunday 12th June were revealed on Capital Breakfast this morning by Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Siân Welby. Ed Sheeran, David Guetta, Aitch, Jax Jones, Mabel, Joel Corry, Mimi Webb, Tate McRae, Lauren Spencer-Smith and A1 x J1 were confirmed this morning on Capital Breakfast, following yesterday’s announcement that Harry Styles, KSI, Anne-Marie, George Ezra, Becky Hill, Sigala, GAYLE, ArrDee and Eddie Benjamin are on the bill.

Ed Sheeran will play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. With four multi-platinum solo studio albums under his belt, Ed Sheeran has amassed a colossal 14 no.1s on The Sky VIP Official Big Top 40 with hits including ‘Shivers’, ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and ‘Bad Habits’, which was also recently named as the most played song on Global’s radio stations in 2021 at The Global Awards.

The four-time GRAMMY Award-winning and seven-time BRIT Award-winning superstar will return to the Wembley Stadium stage for the first time since his record-breaking four-night run back in 2018.

David Guetta, one of the biggest DJs in the world, is guaranteed to bring massive party vibes to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. The superstar DJ is behind some of the biggest dance tracks of all time, with hits including ‘Titanium’, ‘Heartbreak Anthem’ with Little Mix and Galantis, and ‘If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)’ with Capital’s own MistaJam and John Newman.

He topped DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 DJs poll for the third time last year and his incredible career has seen him sell more than 50 million records and amass more than 14 billion streams. He’ll make his much-anticipated return to Capital’s Summertime Ball for the first time in eight years with what promises to be a spectacular show.

Aitch is guaranteed to get the 80,000-strong crowd in party mode when he makes his debut at Wembley Stadium. The Manchester rapper has risen with lightning speed to become one of the UK’s leading hip-hop artists, and recently topped The Sky VIP Official Big Top 40 with new single ‘Baby’ featuring Ashanti.

Jax Jones will also be turning up the summer party vibes with an epic set at Wembley. The DJ, songwriter, record producer and remixer has worked with huge artists including Years & Years, Mabel and Charlie XCX, and is a huge favourite with Capital listeners.

Singer-songwriter Mabel also joins the star-studded line-up for the Ball. The BRIT and Global Award-winning star is known for her string of smash hits including ‘Don’t Call Me Up’, ‘Mad Love’ and ‘Boyfriend’ and her massive track ‘Tick Tock’ with Clean Bandit.

One of the UK’s leading DJs and dance producers, Joel Corry will take to the decks at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Joel Corry had 2020’s longest-running consecutive UK no.1 hit single with ‘Head & Heart’ ft. MNEK and will be sure to get the crowd into party mode.

Mimi Webb also joins the star-studded bill. Earlier this month she was crowned ‘Rising Star’ at The Global Awards 2022. Her huge tracks ‘House on Fire’, ‘Good Without’, ‘24/5’ and ‘Dumb Love’ have proved a massive hit with Capital listeners, and she will make her debut at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard this summer.

Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae is one to watch at Capital’s Summertime Ball. The star rose to popularity on the back of her song ‘One Day’, before scoring the huge multi-platinum hit ‘you broke me first’, which has amassed over 1.4 billion streams worldwide. She releases her long-awaited debut studio album next month and her set at the Ball is not to be missed.

Another hugely exciting rising star joining the bill is Lauren Spencer-Smith in what will be one of her first UK performances. One of the hottest breakthrough artists of the year, Lauren went viral on TikTok with her huge single ‘Fingers Crossed’ at the start of the year. The track became a huge international hit and climbed into the Top 10 of The Sky VIP Official Big Top 40.

British hip-hop duo A1 x J1 also feature on the line-up. After meeting online during the pandemic and rising to stardom with their track ‘Latest Trends’, the hotly tipped rappers will play their biggest ever gig when they take to the Wembley Stage at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard.
