(Los Angeles, CA) - Emerging alt-rock band Eyes Eat Suns are thrilled to announce the release of their latest single “Fix Me” today, August 3rd. Featuring bright vocals and brash, but crisp, production, “Fix Me” is the underdog anthem for not fitting in. Vocalist and songwriter Ayisa Adderley connects themes of self-worth and confidence to those finding it hard to flourish in today’s world of unaccepting and unapologetic societal norms. Eyes Eat Suns wants fans to know that being different is so much better than “being normal.”

The brainchild of Ayisa Adderley and Caige Crampshee, Eyes Eat Suns, is an independent alt-rock band currently based in Los Angeles. Originally hailing from North Carolina, the two were first connected by a mutual friend who asked the two to perform at a Habitat for Humanity event. They immediately hit it off and Eyes Eat Suns was born. Since their first performance, the two have written and recorded three EPs and performed across North America, from festivals to DIY shows.

Taking inspiration from bands like Paramore, Tonight Alive, and Fickle Friends, Eyes Eat Suns has a knack for creating alternative music with pop songwriting sensibilities. Their fresh, bouncy sound is infectious, to say the least, and will have you singing along by the first chorus. Ayisa’s wide vocal range and her perfectly clean tone leave a lasting impression that makes you wish you had her voice. Mix that with Caige’s quick-witted guitar skills and it’s clear these two are onto something big.

After releasing their debut EP Pow!(R), the band decided to shift directions. Ayisa and Caige felt it important to utilize their art to inspire fans and invigorate change. They began writing music to create awareness around issues like suicide prevention, mental health disabilities, and self-awareness. Their sophomore EP Alive touched on said topics, providing fans a place to feel safe and loved in the presence of Eyes Eat Suns. The EP was recorded and produced by Grammy-winning producer James Paul Wisner and received positively as they began to share the record on tour across the country.

The two have since relocated to Los Angeles to explore new writing styles and to gain inspiration from all of the creative outlets the city has to offer. Eyes Eat Suns is excited to share “Fix Me” and see the reaction to their new, more pop-friendly sound. Be on the lookout for their new single and what else is to come from the talented Eyes Eat Suns this year!
