The Vamps Debut single ‘Can We Dance’ – September 30th plus Main Support on Selena Gomez UK Tour

Can We Dance, The Vamps debut single will be released on 29th September 2013. Can We Dance, is a shuffling, pop juggernaut seemingly destined for worldwide ubiquity. The single was produced by Espionage (Beyonce, Ne-Yo) in NYC where the band spent most of their time writing the record.  The video trended worldwide upon release and can be seen below

The Vamps performed at London’s Westfield shopping mall, causing pandemonium and noise complaints from local residents. Their loyal fans started building up as early as 9am and by their 8pm performance, over 600 fans had turned up. Catch a glimpse below. The Vamps have also been confirmed as the official support for Selena Gomez’s London dates at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 7th and 8th September.

Called “The YouTube Band” by many, The Vamps new found position as superstars-in-waiting is a social media fantasy come true. Having won over an army of new fans during their support slot with chart heavyweights McFly, the four piece have amassed a serious online following. Their YouTube channel has gathered nearly a quarter of a million subscribers and they have over 17 million online hits. Add to that 150,000 Facebook likes and Twitter followers. An incredible feat for a band who are yet to launch their debut single.

The four teenage musicians; singer Bradley Will Simpson, guitarist James McVey, drummer Tristan Evans and bassist Connor Ball, hooked up via their homemade demos on YouTube. Their plan: to upload a series of covers of chart-conquering pop hits and release an album of their own arena-shaking anthems. Seventeen million online hits and a major label recording deal later, they are doing just that!
