Haim hope to collaborate with Damon Albarn

Musical trio Haim have revealed that they hope to work with Blur front man Damon Albarn in the future.

The band – made up by sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim – spoke to the Daily Star about their ideal collaborator.

Alana stated: “If Damon ever wants to work with us, we're available.”

The ‘Falling’ group were on the same bill as the Gorillaz music maker this weekend (February 28 – March 1) for the BBC 6 Music Festival in Manchester.

Haim recently took home two honours at the NME Awards after being named Best International Band and Alana winning Best Band Blog or Twitter for her @babyhaim account.

On her personal award Alana said: “I wanted to win Best Twitter so bad, it probably means more than the band trophy… I was trying to think of cool tweets for the past couple of weeks, to influence voters.”

Following their success at the NME Awards held earlier this week Haim thanked their fans by saying:

“The UK has been so lovely to us, they've given us so much love. The fact we get to be here and win an award is really crazy and we're stoked and we love the UK. This is our first proper award that we have got at an awards ceremony. This is the first one, so it's a big deal for us.”
