Haim say their new album is coming "very soon"

Sister trio Haim have promised fans that their next record is already in the pipeline.

Alana, Danielle and Este Haim told BBC 6 Music that they won’t be waiting around to record material for their sophomore album.

Keyboardist Alana Haim revealed the she and her siblings began writing new material whilst on tour and will begin recording in July.

She told 6 Music: “This is the first time we've ever written on the road. We're going home in a month to start recording.”

The ‘Falling’ star added: “I promise record two won't come in six years, it'll come very soon.”

Haim’s debut album – 2013’s ‘Days Are Gone’ – debuted at No. 1 on the UK chart and has spawned the singles ‘Forever’, ‘Don’t Save Me’, ‘Falling’, ‘The Wire’ and ‘If I Could Change Your Mind’.

Their next single, ‘Running If You Call My Name’, is scheduled for release in August.
