UNA HEALY REVEALS 'BATTLELINES' VIDEO

UNA HEADLINES LONDON’S BUSH HALL ON MONDAY 15TH MAY

Una Healy has just revealed her brand new video for track, 'Battlelines'. The video features Una playing guitar through the streets of London. The video was all shot in one take, in just an hour. You can watch the video below.

It’s been an incredible past 6 months for Irish singer songwriter Una HealyUna signed to Decca Records, released her debut solo single Stay My Lovea duet with Nashville star Sam Palladio, launched her first album The Waiting Game, supported Ward Thomas and Maddie & Tae and headlined sold-out shows of her own in both London and Dublin. Now, Una returns with the launch of her new single, Battlelines, out now and available to stream from https://open.spotify.com/track/5kXXCD11eAHG88msayMnY2

Battlelines, an uptempo pop-rock track written by Una and Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Lana Del Rey, Jason Mraz), showcases Una’s songwriting talent and it’s already a fan favourite from her live shows. The single premiere comes ahead of Una’s show at London’s Bush Hall on 15th May.

On The Waiting Game, Una has worked with some of the world’s most acclaimed songwriters and producers, including Grammy winner Amy Wadge, Ben Earle from The Shires, Nick Atkinson (Gabrielle Aplin) and singer songwriter Jack McManus. The album weaves magnetic folk, pop and rock melodies into echoes of the country music she grew up with and is available to buy now on iTunes.

Una found fame as one fifth of successful girl band The Saturdays and they racked up 13 Top 10 singles and 5 Top 10 albums in just 6 years. Music was always Una’s number one passion from a young age – as a teenager most evenings were spent performing in bars and clubs across Ireland, and she independently released an EP and entered various national songwriting competitions, winning two. It was Una’s original singer-songwriter ambitions that nagged away like unfinished business when The Saturdays went on hiatus. It’s like I’ve gone full circle, back to the beginning,” she says. I called the album The Waiting Game because I’d been waiting so long for this.”
