Surrey-born songstress Hannah Jane Lewis has just revealed a beautifully stripped-back acoustic version of her latest single, Lemonade. Hannah’s sugar-sweet yet soaring vocals shine through on this re-worked version, accompanied by the soft melody of the acoustic guitar. Co-written by Joel Gunnarsson and Gil Lewis in the height of Summer, Hannah has said of the track, “It’s about finding someone you have loads of electricity with, and the feeling after you finally act upon it. When I wrote Lemonade it felt like something clicked and a new door opened to lots of songs that I can’t wait to release.” The original version was added straight into Spotify's prestigious New Music Friday UK playlist (776k followers) on day of release, above Meghan Trainor & Nicki Minaj plus five other NMF playlists around the world. Lemonade also received its first radio play, on Mollie King’s BBC Radio 1 show and has since been played on Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 1 show. It was also added to Apple Music’s biggest pop playlist, ‘The A-List Pop’.

Over the last few years, Hannah has released a slew of catchy tracks which have been streamed over 20 million times including her tastemaker-approved debut Raincheck which was Radio One’s Introducing Track of the Week, and recent fan favourite Not Yours Never Was from last year’s self-titled EP. The singer-songwriter has previously supported the likes of Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Shawn Mendes to name a few. The sky’s the limit for Hannah Jane Lewis; she dreams of headlining iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in NYC and London’s O2 Arena someday. This year, Hannah is setting her sights on releasing lots of new music, and also getting back on the road and playing live shows so watch this space.

The Surrey-born rising star doesn’t remember a time where she didn’t want to be a singer. Hannah grew up taking singing and dancing lessons alongside learning how to play the piano. At 14, she moved to Florida with her family where she resided for 8 years before moving to New York City. After studying at the prestigious NYU Tisch School Of The Arts (alumni include Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Anne Hathaway), Hannah returned to the UK to work on her own music.
