A rep for MTV has dismissed speculation that Harry Styles will feature in Teen Wolf.

The series' show runner Jeff Davis allegedly said in an interview with a fan website that they were in talks with the One Direction man.

However, network MTV has confirmed that the interview was fake and that Styles won't feature on the programme.

One job the singer has official landed, however, is a role in upcoming war movie Dunkirk.

After months of speculation, Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed today (May 23) that Styles will feature in the Christopher Nolan film.

The film is slated to hit cinemas on July 21 2017.
