Harry Styles says 1D is "the most important thing that's ever happened" to him

One Direction's Harry Styles has opened up about the boyband's extended hiatus and confessed that while there are no plans to reunite, he considers his time in the group to be the "most important" chapter of his life to date.

Chatting to The Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney for Another Man magazine, the heartthrob admitted that he has nothing but gratitude and awe for everything he achieved with 1D:

"I would never say we'll never do anything again, but it's good for us to be exploring different things. Maybe at some point everyone will want to do something again, but it's better if it happens naturally. Like, 'Hey, we all really want to do something again.'"

"If that were to happen it would be amazing. I would never rule that out. It's the most important, greatest thing that's ever happened to me, being in that band."
