From CHIC to The Groovement - Sylver Logan Sharp

Sylver Logan Sharp, former lead singer of the legendary group CHIC, is poised to top the charts again with her latest album, ‘The Groovement’, recorded LIVE in Stockholm, Sweden.

Her soon to be released album, ‘The Groovement’, was created and produced in collaboration with producer / pianist and music director, Daryl L.A. Hunt.

As the Voice Of CHIC for 20 years, Sylver toured the USA, Europe, Japan, the UK and performed at Night of the Proms with the orchestra, Il Novencento, Montreux Jazz Festival, Hollywood Bowl, The Paradiso, the Budokan, Osaka Jo Hall and even Blue Note in Japan!

Her CHIC discography includes: ‘CHIC-ism’, ‘CHIC’, ‘Le Freak and More Treats’, ‘The Definitive Grove’ in addition to the DVDs, ‘CHIC: Live at The Budokan’, ‘CHIC - Live at Montreux' plus ‘CHIC Live in Amsterdam’ and ‘Carlos Santana’s Hymns for Peace’.

She has performed and / or recorded with Yolanda Adams, Patti Labelle, Michael Bolton, Roberta Flack, Ledisi, and Whoopi Goldberg to name a few.

Circa 2005, she also topped the dance music charts with her #1 Billboard Hit - ‘All This Time’, written by Richard Bush and produced by Jonathan Peters.

After a few years of writing, recording and producing the music videos for her new album, Sylver kicked off the year to a full house for her “pre-release” concert at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, debuting her latest single and video, Sailing from ‘The Groovement’.

‘The Groovement’ will ve released on 11th July 2017. 

'Sailing' is the lead single from the album.
