Following on from six days of digital events produced in quarantine due to the outbreak of COVID-19, today progressive pop powerhouse Charli XCX today announces a renewed schedule of Instagram livestreams to provide entertainment for those in coronavirus induced self-isolation.
Starting today (30th March) with a vocal coaching session with Swedish singer songwriter Tove Lo, the sessions aim for interactivity, with fans encouraged to comment on the sessions and take part from the comfort of their home. Tuesday’s event sees Charli team up with Los Angeles based multimedia artist Lucas David for a life drawing class sure to be tinged with his own surrealist stylings, before getting zen with Ashnikko for yoga practice. Rina Sawayama steps up on Thursday to take part in the psychopath test alongside Charli, with enigmatic country star Orville Peck giving Charli a glimpse into her future with a horoscope reading on Friday. Saturday rounds up the schedule with a tutorial on how to slay your make up looks with Zara Larsson. Full schedule below.
Charli’s aim throughout the global lockdown has been to provide people with a source of entertainment, inspiration and creativity through shared experience, and with this week’s program of events she’s taking digital escapism to the next level. We’re all in this together, so self-isolation doesn’t have to be isolating.
