After a two year hiatus, British band The 1975 will make their live comeback as the headliners of Japan’s biggest rock festival Summer Sonic 2022, taking place in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka on 20th and 21st August.

This will be The 1975’s first live show since 2020 when they released the number one album, ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’. This was the band's fourth consecutive number one record and underlined their reputation as one of the most generation-defining bands of all time; sonically singular, visually impeccable and a catalogue which has earned them a monumental forty-four global award nominations to date.

The 1975 are currently in the studio in England where they are writing, recording and mixing their forthcoming fifth studio album.
