Yes Sunshine today announce signing to New Jersey USA based label Mint 400. To celebrate, the announcement comes with the re-release of the single ‘Ride’ on Monday 26th May – and the band are performing two shows either side of the date to coincide with the launch.

Hailing from the birthplace of ‘The Specials’ it’s clear to see there is something definitely in the water when it comes to musical talent to come out of Coventry. On its initial release, the single paved the way for the band to be personally invited to support The View at Coventry's biggest venue, The Kasbah, after being played on BBC Introducing.  The second time around is no different – the band are racking up the invites, with Zane Lowe, The Enemy and Drenge all requesting their presence as a support act in the UK. The single was a highlight during their brilliant recent showcase performance at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton:

‘We were delighted to be a part of Great Escape 2014. So many great acts have played here before breaking through and we hope to follow in their footsteps’.

The Mint 400 means that new material is in the works. A new single and US radio campaign is being planned for September.
