The Slytones Announce Support Dates with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and New Single ‘Shake The Cage’

Following a ruckus set at this year’s prestigious Great Escape Festival, Brighton’s own Psychedelic genre pioneers The Slytones will be hitting the road with the God of Hellfire, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown this month to burnish their unique flair across the nation.

New Single ‘Shake The Cage’ is a wacky organ flaring dance floor-shattering monster of a track that lies smoldering in the remains of conventional rock, swing and ska-influence. The Slytones are on a path to discover new, weird and wonderful ways to be musically expressive.

Check out the new music video for ‘Shake The Cage’ that sees the malevolent mob take to the streets of Brighton!

‘Shake The Cage’ will be released on Monday 26th October

These clown-faced fidgets from the sunny south coast are a well-oiled sextet that you need to see live and are injecting some theatricality, colour and mischievous menace back into a scene that too often chases it's tail to no avail.

“The plan was always to make any noise we wanted, to write music that captured how we felt at any given time. It has allowed us to say anything to the world we like, to express our personalities and be as clear and transparent as possible. It’s about urges, desires, needs, flaws, thoughts… beliefs.” Ashley Edwards (Frontman)
